Rear screen smash! HELP!

Hiya, got the samsung 7 edge for my birthday on the 21st of jan, my daughter smashed the rear screen on the same day unfortunately, i havent taken out insurance, but could i take it back as part of a 12 day warrenty, if not how much money am i looking at for it to be fixed?
