How to retrieve from deleted internal storage

[AC Question]

I was trying to clear out some space in my phone. I went to internal storage and went into the "other" area.i did not think that this included my photos and music since those had their own sections but clearly I am wrong. Is there any way to retrieve these photos? I am not too worried about the music just the photos. Please help and thank you
