Syncing "My Calendars" events from S4 to S7 Edge?

So I want to sync all of my calendar app events from my old Galaxy S4 over to my new Galaxy S7 Edge. The problem is, on the S4 I didn't realize all my events had been being saved to a calendar option called My Calendars, which I'm deducing is the app's generic calendar option and is not sync-able because it is specific to the app and does not connect to my Google account. BUT, is there any way that I can sync the My Calendars calendar on the S4 Calendar app over to the Calendar app on my new S7 Edge? Or do I literally have to manually change the calendar option for each event to my Google account so it will sync over? Thanks!

Welcome to Android Central! Can you sync the My Calendar events on the old phone to your Samsung account? That should allow them to sync to the new phone, assuming you've logged into the same Samsung account there as well.
