A
AC Question
This is a 2 pointer really. I have a Galaxy S6 running Android 6.0.1.
When I download pdf file attachments from my yahoo email account,
the .pdf file extension isn't carried with the filename. The files show
in the 'Type' column of the My Files app as 'File'. Here's where part 2
comes in. The only reference to the files is in Download History. I can't
locate the physical file on my phone. I have to connect the phone to my
laptop, do a search for the file name, and copy the document from the
search results to a phone folder such as Downloads, DCIM, etc. Then I
can find and view it in My Apps. When travelling I get a lot of flight and
hotel confirmations via email. It sucks having to go through this process
to get a soft copy on my phone.
