Where's the stop button for unauthorized add-ons?

[AC Question]

A recent update added youtube to the top of my android device. Now everytime my playlist is on my songs go to my devices home screen. I never ever gave anyone authorization to do that. I cannot find a turn off, a delete, a stop button....nothing, to get rid of this!!!! I do not want my songs taking over my device's start screen!

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? What do you mean by adding YouTube to the top of your device? Do you mean that you see the YouTube icon at the top of your homescreen?

What playlist are you talking about, and what do you mean by your songs going to your homescreen? I'm not sure what you mean by your songs taking over your start screen.
