how can i turn my phone off with black screan?

my scrent went black and it does not reposnd and i needd to turn it off beacues i keep having notifications cow can i turn my smasung note 5 off without touching the screen?

Welcome to Android Central! Press and hold Power and Vol Down for about 15 seconds to force a shutdown. You can then try powering on again normally -- if the screen remains black, then the screen has failed and needs replacement.
