All non working keys are vertically adjacent ) P : / and space - as if one side of keyboard is not communicating with tablet.

Welcome to Android Central! Did this suddenly happen, or has it always been like that? Is this for a Polaroid S10 tablet?

Chances are that the keyboard itself is faulty. Devices from Polaroid and other off-brand companies will tend to have more problems due to poorer quality control. Is the device still under warranty?
