AC Question

So, after attempting both solutions posed when others have asked this question, and getting no results, I thought I would ask if there are alternatives to clearing the cache, or doing a factory reset. I've done both, and there's still no improvement, the error message continues to appear every few seconds.

I am on an expiria v10. As expected, any sort of app that would require media functions (youtube, music players, gallery, etc) immediately close upon the error. Are there solutions to this that don't require me getting a new device?

Welcome to Android Central! That error often happens when there is a corrupt media file stored in Internal Storage or the SD card. If you have an SD card, Unmount it (in Settings>Storage), remove it, then reboot, and see if the problem persists. If it goes away, insert the card into your computer and run chkdsk to look for corrupt files or bad sectors: http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...guide-using-chkdsk-fix-corrupted-sd-card.html
