When I have WIFI on, I will walk around town. Say I'm walking around are searching for something on my phones internet browser...if I get near a wifi connection, it pops up on the screen and will ask me to connect. I continuously have to close out these notifications.

Is there a way to turn these notifications off without having to turn off wifi?

I know I could just turn off my wifi if I'm not using it, but the problem with that is I forget to turn it back on when I get back home and I end up using up my cell phone data.

    Thanks!

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>Wi-fi, then tap More>Advanced, and see if there is a Network Notification option.
