Why does my Samsung browser crash constantly since the last update?

Before the latest system update on my Galaxy S6 Active, the default browser almost never had a problem (I can't even think of one instance). Now, almost every other time I use Secret Mode, it freezes the whole thing and I have to restart the browser. Has anyone else experienced this or have an idea for a solution? It's basically making the browser's Secret Mode unusable, which is enough to make me stop using it all together.

clearing the cache will probably solve the problem.
