AC Question

I recently bought a mhl 2.0 adapter to use with my tablet on the tv, only to find out it wasn't compatible. So I looked at the official mhl compatible devices list and it's full of older devices. And there are no real new devices on the list. Is there a newer screen mirror device or did they just drop mhl altogether?

Welcome to Android Central! MHL and Slimport have largely been abandoned by the major device makers, presumably due to the assumption that most users prefer to mirror wirelessly. Personally, I'd prefer more devices to support these kinds of standards, but that's unfortunately how it is.
