Its on my ex gf plan. She blocked it. What can I do

Can I just get a prepaid Sim and do it that way?

Get your own plan (with a new number). She owns the plan, she canceled or suspended your line. If you have no permissions to act on the plan, there's nothing you can do.

Either your own paid plan or your own prepaid plan, as long as the phone isn't also registered as hers. if it is, she might have blocked the phone itself, and it can't be used any more (or until you can convince her to tell your carrier to unblock it).
