Samsung s6 password on start up

[AC Question]

I have a samsung galaxy s6, and when you restart your phone, it says "Your phone was restarted and needs to be unlocked using your password. You can use your fingerprints next time you unlock your phone." (This is normal) But when I click the bar to type in my password, the keyboard to type my password never shows up until almost 20 minutes later, and it's so aggravating. Please help! Thanks
