Why does speech to text?

I am using the speech recognition talk to text.

It will stop and I do not know why. I have to tap it again to get it going.

Also, do you know how to train it if it types a word incorrectly?

Welcome to Android Central.

As for it pausing that is the design of the software. If you hesitate while dictating it will pause itself. Now for training it, the more you use it the better it will get. It's not perfect but I find if I speak clear and slow it does much better. Thanks.
