Before I start, I'll apologize for the undescriptive title but there are many problems with my tablet. In case this is any use, it's an SM-T700 model Samsung Galaxy.
One of the main problems is that there are white lines that'll flicker onto the screen at random intervals. It doesn't matter whether I'm using the internet, youtube or a game but these vertical lines will flash across. A lot of the time, they'll become so sever that they make my tablet crash and have to restart.
The second main problem leads on from that. The tablet will crash and restart itself. I don't press anything but a lot of the time it won't turn on for a while.
The third problem is that the white line will become more severe unless my tablet is plugged in and charging. So I can't use it unless it's on charge which kind of ruins the point.
Problem number four is that if I'm playing a game, listening to music or watching a video then occasionally my tablet will freeze and the audio will stutter.
One more thing, if you can provide me with a solution I would prefer it to NOT be a direct factory reset. I have some valuable files on my tablet and I don't want to lose anything, including game data and levels.
    Thank you.

Welcome to the forums. Questions like this are very difficult to answer over the internet as there may be several causes. Based on what you described, I would guess you have either a hardware problem (was the tablet dropped) or have some components going bad. The white lines and flickering would indicate a failing screen or loose connection, but the crash and restart looks like failure of a major component, ram maybe. I think you need to get the files you want off the tablet now, but game levels and such, unless saved in an online gaming account, will be lost if the device dies. You might take it to repair shop, seeing what its doing may be lots easier for them to diagnose.

But, rereading your post, you say you can't use the tablet unless its plugged in. Does everything work okay if its plugged in? You're not clear on that. If so, then obviously your battery is shot.

Thank you for replying to my question! (I am the same person i just signed up).

The tablet hasn't been dropped and I'll restart the tablet fully again.
To answer your question, even if it is plugged in it still does these things but on a rarer occasion. The battery is fine it's just everything else.

I will still have to go with answer above, I think you're having hardware failure that won't get better. Let us know how the reset goes, but I would be surprised if it helps.
