Why does my hotspot switch off a few seconds after going on

[AC Question]

Everytime i try to switch on my hotspott, it goes on for about 10secs then switches off. I have tried setting it to never sleep but nothing has helped.

It sounds more like a carrier problem. Carriers like Verizon don't allow you to use your phone as a hotspot on certain account types.
