How do I figure out which app has the adware during charging? When charging I get a different charging screen with ads that says "if you turn off Smart charging, then you'll not be able to protect your battery anymore". I tested in safemode and the issue disappears so I went ahead and disabled it but I'd like to still delete the app that caused the problem if I can figure it out.

Welcome to Android Central. It will be something you downloaded. I would look first for something battery or charging related. When the ad comes up try long pressing on it and see if that points to an app name.

Also, there's a long list of apps pushing this kind of charging screens. ES File Explorer, Photo Editor, Z Camera, GO and DU apps, cleaners, battery/memory boosters ... Do you have any of them installed?

Hi, I had the same issue and it comes from the "Flashlight" app. In its settings is the smart charging option you can turn off.
