Why won't my email update on my Android devices?

On both my GS7 Edge and Galaxy Tab A, my AT&T email account will not update, and has not synced since 7/25. Manual sync does nothing. However, on my Win10 PC, that account stays current through the day, every day. This situation is identical on my wife's Android devices as well (both phone and tablet), yet her Win10 laptop updates perfectly. Have not contacted anyone on this issue yet, as I am trying to figure out what the culprit is—AT&T, the OS, aliens? Anyone else have this issue? Thanks
 
I'd check with your local AT&T (corporate, not affiliate) store. If their internet connection can't contact their email server, no phone using an AT&T email account with mobile data will work. (Check it by turning mobile data off and using wifi - the same wifi that your Windows PC is using.)
 
I have a Samsung 8 and I literally had to hunt down how to update my email.
1. Go to your settings
2.Go to apps
3. scroll down to email and tap
4. tap the gear top right
5.Now tap your email account at top
6. Now your "Sync Account" should display that its off...so just turn it on!
7. Now back out of everything and go to your email and slide your screen down to sync it. You should be good to go!!!
