when changing charging port do you have to use rev 1.2 as originally fitted as i am sourcing a replacement part now.

Normally the phone need the max current is 1.2A,and the tablet need 2A.
if the current is too high , it will be impact on the device.

So that's what 'rev 1.2' means. It meant nothing at all to me, and I'd never have guessed.
