Voice mail dials number of unknown caller. Why can't I delete it. Afraid of a scam.

Rejected call from unknown caller. Caller left voice mail. But voice mail doesn't play message ;it dials the rejected caller. It won't delete. I don't want to call the number. Why can't I delete it? I tried restarting phone ;the voice mail won't go away! Help.

Welcome to Android Central. Voice mail is provided by your carrier and should be something like *86 on your device. Have you tried that? You have to call them to hear the message. Have you tried accessing Recent on your dialer and deleting those?
