How can i block parental monitoring

I am 38 years old due to a messy divorce and lost my job I had to get a cell phone on my mother's AT&T plan. I pay my own bill on my phone but being as she is the primary on her AT&T account she can monitor pretty much everything I do on my phone. As a grown man there are naturally some things on my phone that I really don't care for my 60 year old very curious mother looking at pretty much anytime you wants. Is there any way I can block or disable her from being able to monitor my phone?

Normally, on AT&T, whether it's her account or not, she can't see what you're doing. Bring the phone into an AT&T store (a company store, not an affiliate) and ask about it. If something has to be done, you may have to go to a Device Support Center, but they'll give you the location of the nearest one (if you're not out in the sticks, it will be the store you're in or another one close by).
