    I've noticed lately that when I delete an email from one device using the Gmail app that change isn't propagated to my other devices. So, I have to delete that same email manually from each device in the Gmail app. This is for my gmail.com account.

    Is there a special setting I need to configure to have my Gmail account be in total sync across all my devices using the Gmail app?

    Gmail accounts are set up in Android as IMAP accounts - the email is kept on the phone. When you delete it, you delete it from that phone only. Either go through the list of emails with a browser periodically (GMail), or set up filters to delete mail you get regularly that you don't want (have the filter delete the email) in the browser, so it gets deleted from the server and you don't see it any more. (You can't do that with spam having randomly-generated From: addresses, but you might be able to do it by something else - like the subject being $$ - that should delete all $$, $$$, $$$$, etc. emails.)
