Turning off auto sync ?

ok so here is my thought , i use google keep for my notes . And i put important notes in the app so im conserned what will happen if i turn off auto sync on my android phone . Will the new notes i save in the app wont be saved in google services . So if i delete the app all the new notes will be deleted as well . Im really affraid if this so i hope someone will explain what does this auto sync feature really do and can i turn it off and my notes will still be saved ?

If you turn it off, your notes are saved only in your phone. If you turn it on, your notes are saved on your phone and on Google's servers. (Don't worry - a great way to lose your job fast at Google is to look through customers' data. It's safe.) That way, if something happens to your phone, you still have your notes. (You should also make a backup, to your PC and to a cloud account, of any important files. Always. Just in case.)
