Pattern lock on a Kyocera model c6742a with AT&T carrier

I have a Kyocera model c6742a with AT&T is the carrier it is my old phone and now my old phone. My new phone is broken and I cannot remember the pattern or the pin lock how do I do a hard reset on this phone

You probably can't and there's no reason to. Go to your AT&T store and ask if they can unlock it for you (they'll have a record of the IMEI since you used to use it on AT&T). If they can't, ask where the nearest Device Support Center is. Someone there should be able to unlock it.
