I have a Samsung s7 that abruptly stopped working. Blue screen of death as you will. The screen works fine but is now completely unresponsive. For security reasons, I had a lock on the OS. So now when I turn on my phone, I get stuck on the "To start up your device, enter your PIN" screen.

I have tried software to connect my device to my PC like kies and Data Recovery with no luck. I have tried soft reboots as well as hard reboots with no luck. The only thing I have not tried is the factory data reset (power off) since this means I would lose all my data.

    Any advice appreciated .

Try if a USB mouse will work. Not sure if it will install with a lock on. It works without.
