I work for a business that will be giving several hundred employees android devices soon. These will be for a very specific task so the phones will not have to a data or voicemail plan. Here are some issues I need help with.
I understand that I will have to to set up a Google account on these phones for them to get app updates, can I put their same account on all of them phones? Is there a limit on how many people phones can all have the same same account?
Is there a way to lock out almost all everything except the use of a few specific apps and allow users to select wifi nodes? Applock would allow me to lock settings, but I if I do that they cant choose to wifi... If I don't lock settings then Applock can be uninstalled.
Is there a better way to manage these devices that would be free or very cost effective?
Anyone able to offer advice would beads greatly appreciated.
