S8 - Can I easily pause and frame advance slow motion video

I am considering switching from an iPhone to a Samsung S8; however, I have a dilemma. I use the iPhone to capture golf swings. I can easily open the video, pause and frame advance back and forth. Playing with the S8, this doesn't seem possible. Of course, no one at Best Buy or the AT&T store can help me, nor can I find a way online. I am not interested in opening the video in a different app and I'm definitely not interested in transferring it to a laptop. I want the instantaneous ability to do this. It's a breeze on iPhone and I can also do it easily on the Pixel 2 (which is definitely a possibility).

I took a slow motion video and on playback you can pause /play easily enough. In pause, you get the film roll thing on the bottom with a cursor and you can slide that to put you in any part of the recorded scene. It looks like this.
Best way is to grab a device at store, take a vid and play it back. You can't beat having it on your hands
