Android Central Question

Hey everyone,

For the past month or two I have had Google Drive spam (shared porn documents) and within the past couple weeks Google Chrome has been redirecting from knowingly harmless websites to knowingly malicious ones (indicating that I won something).

I restored my Galaxy S8+ back to factory and yet the issues still remain. I changed my passwords, deleted all browser history etc and still nothing.

I ran Malwarebytes, had Norton on my phone and somehow it did not catch anything.

What do I do to fix this.. I am pretty sure I have a virus but I cannot seem to get rid of it.

From XDA browser redirects hijacking:

Oddly enough XDA is itself a target of adware and as a result of visiting the site you may see those "ads." Even if using adblockers and good practice.

Chrome 64 should be or is live for some already. It wasn't showing for me though (Beta) on the Google Play Store is using build 64
