I own a Samsung Galaxy J2 Prime. Recently, I lost a huge amount of regular load within a few hours of purchasing it.

    1. I received notifications, one after the other, claiming that I just connected to the internet, and that a deduction was made for it.

I had just connected to the internet the previous day using a Wi-Fi network, BUT RECEIVED A NOTIFICATION THAT MY LOAD WAS DEDUCTED FOR DOING SO. This went on until the next day when I replenished my load.

First of all, aren't Wi-fi network supposed to be free? In fact, the one I connected to is FREE, and I can attest to that through past experiences when I used it.

This incident also happened in the past. I noticed that even if I am not connected to the internet, the Globe network keeps making deductions on my load for this.

2, How come even if I am using free Wi-fi, I see this notification on the top of the screen "You're on Data Mode" whenever I log in to my Facebook account?

How do I stop this from happening and be able to use free Wi-fi once more without my load being compromised.

    Thanks.

When you are connected to wifi, the data normally goes thru it.

Are you sure you have internet access on the wifi?
Just because you can connect to it doesn't mean it allows internet.
