Contacts not connected via Whatsapp

Hi, I have a Samsung S8 running Kernel 4.4.

I have my contacts synced on the phone via a Microsoft Exchange Server, when I create a new contact, and go into the contact, under the 'Connected Via' section Whatsapp is not showing for the new contacts.

But when I go into Whatsapp and search the contact it is showing up.

The contacts used to link to Whatsapp automatically in the 'Connected Via' section. And my old contacts still show Whatsapp too.

I've checked the permissions in Whatsapp and they're all enabled.

I've also refreshed the contacts in Whatsapp.

Is there any way to fix this please?
