Why Huawei Mate 10 lite deleted files keep staying on harddisk for 30 days

I have just deleted recently around 24gb of movie files on my mate 10 lite and those files still keep place on harddisk which i can see on other section. I believe they will disappear at the end of 30 days but is there a way to work around this thing? Isn't it rediculous that you delete files but they stay still for recovery? Any empty trashcan option?
