Can I set a separate Message tone for a specific contact?

On my 7 Edge I could set a separate Message tone for a specific contact. I do not find that for my Samsung Galaxy S9+

No, that's gone on the 9. Try a 3rd party SMS app like chomp SMS.

@Rukbat maybe we need a cross-linked sticky here, in the S8/S8+ and S9/S9+ (and maybe Note 8) forums, any Samsung devices getting Oreo, to cover this topic? It seems like it's a common question.

Google Messages has the ability as well.

Verizon's Message+ app apparently has the ability but I cannot confirm because I am on T-Mobile and have Oreo on the S8+
