Question Google Contact Multiple Phone Numbers

Why in some of my google contacts is the phone number listed twice for the contact? Is there a tool I can use that can remove one of the duplicate phone numbers?

I'd guess a bad sync? I don't know of a tool, but you can remove the numbers by clicking the X to the right of the number to remove.

Is that from your contacts app on the phone? Also check the settings within contacts to see what you're syncing it's possible you might have SIM backup along with a regular backup causing duplicates

Google site some contacts have phone numbers listed twice

You should see options to merge duplicates, I get duplicates because I have 3 different Google emails and numbers synced

Its not a contact duplicate, its just when I edit contact info, the same phone number is listed twice for a contact. Usually one has an area code the other one doesnt.

Yeah mine is listed for a contact as same mobile and home because this contact was saved different ways and wants to merge to correct

The same phone numbers are from home. Not home and mobile. I must've imported from icloud to gooogle when I had an iphone causing it show two of same phone numbers.

Im talking about inside the contact edit info wasn't a cobtact duplicate. Shows phone number listed twice for home label.

Why does one of my numbers show country code while the other one doesn't? That's why there's two numbers? The system thinks theyre two separate numbers

Looking back at your screenshot they both show 410

Do that means that number might have also been saved multiple ways and needs to be merged, check your contact app and check under the menus in my screenshot, could be not just your Google account, but Samsung,sim card etc....
