Samsung Galaxy s7: Email app won't sync the inbox.

Hi

So I've been trying to synchronize my email app with my hotmail/outlook account and suddenly my inbox was empty of emails, it says something like this "No E-mails. You may have emails that have yet to be loaded from the server". It only affects the inbox folder and none of the other folders.

I managed to "fix" it for a short time by empty out both the data and the cache for the app and then updating the phone itself. But then the emails disappeared again. And now the phone won't even stop "synchronizing".

I tried to see if I have the same problem with the gmail and outlook app but they work just fine.

Plz help me!

Welcome to Android Central! Have you already tried removing that email account from the email app, then adding it back again?
