How do I remove the corner swipe popup menu from my S8?

I have read the threads here and elsewhere regarding removal of the corner swipe(up) popup menu that plagues my phone to no avail. I do not have any of the suspected apps installed and am at wits end. How can I get rid of this damned thing?

Welcome to the forums. What have you tried so far and which apps do you mean? That sounds like the 'swipe' menu included in many apps. Try this, open that menu and then open the recent apps overview. It's possible that the last card shows you who the culprit is.

I tried that to no avail. Other forum posts mentioned onmiswipe, lazy swipe, es swipe, etc. I had none o these. I have no photo editor or file manager supposedly associated with this.

From the various posts on this topic, apparently any number of apps come with this feature. (Why do developers try to be Oh so clever?)

With me, it is "Antivirus Free". In Settings > Apps, I did a Force Stop and the corner menu doesn't show anymore.

I think I just figured out how to remove the corner swipe popup menu from my S8?

I think it is called the ES Swipe screen. I have had the phone about a year now and this screen and Bixby are the only two things i dislike about it.

Anyway, 1) open the ES Swipe Screen by swiping from the bottom corner, 2) there are different rings of app there, switch until you see on called ES Settings, 3) click on it to open, 4) selec off.

Once i did this I have been unable to get back to it .... Yahoo!

Guys..i tried everything u suggested but couldnt find the culprit..it is getting annoying. I dont have anyother apps other than the normal youtube whatsapp Instagram...I am trying to Install this jio4GVoice app and it is popping screen overlay detected while granting permissions for the app. Please help.

Do you have vault? Its a feature on that called lazy swipe

hey. I have the same annoying problem and nothing seems to work. I have vault but the lazy swipe is not turned on...…..any other suggestions....PLEASE

Yup the problem is from Vaut - Lazy Swipe.. After I turned off, the es swipe is gone. Work for vivo v7 plus. Thank you Den Dso

Just a quick clarification here -- there's no way Android Auto would be responsible for that corner swipe menu.

I always think about this Swipe in my phone (Samsung note 3). But I finally find that, I already install Vault Application. So I find there settings in Swipe Option. Turn off Iswipe then ur Problems where Solved.. Thanks........

I've been having this same issue for at least the past month and I have the "Vault" app installed. I did not have lazy swipe turned on, but I did a force stop on the app and so far have not had a pop up in the past two days! It was driving me crazy and interferring with certain games I was trying to play. Hope this helps someone!

I just did it by swiping the right corner up and looking at the app that was there and one said SWIP i click on that then on top of the menu I turn off the swip option and no more annoying right corner swips. I hope this helps someone.

Sorry on my last post I put swip I meant Swipe but I stand by what I said bring up the annoying corner menu and one of those should say SWIPE clicked on it and on the top of that menu I turned off the swipe capability and no more annoying corners I can now play my games without pulling that menu up ever time I need to go to a corner. I really hope this works for someone else.
