How to make Weather Channel app display interactive widget on home screen gs9?

I liked the interactive Weather Channel widget on my homescreen on my new SG9. I accidentally removed it from my home screen. I found the app again and added it to home. But now all I see is another boring icon, not the super convenient updating temperature widget. How can I restore what was originally on my home screen?

Open the homescreen on which you'd like the widget to appear. Press and hold in an empty space, then select "Widgets" from the menu at the bottom of the screen. Scroll until you find your desired widget, then press and hold to drag it to the homescreen.
