Can you use the Samsung Seperate App Sound for two different connected bluetooth devices?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S9 and I was trying the Seperate App Sound thing and I had my bluetooth headphones and my bluetooth speaker connected but I could only connect one app to bluetooth (both speaker and headphone) and one through my phone. I was trying to connect one app through my bluetooth speaker and one app through my bluetooth headphones. Is this possible snd how do I get it to work?
