Keeps beeping while charging

[Android Central Question]

So recently everytime I put my phone on a charger (I have tried different chargers) it won't stop going off. If I have my notification sounds on it rings like 30-50 times in a row with some pauses in between. When I turn the sound off it does the same thing but it vibrates instead. Any help?

That's a typical sign of water damage. Depending on the phone it might be cheaper to replace it than to repair it. Join the Android Central community so you can postin this thread and tell us which phone you have.

(Even if you never got the phone "wet with water", condensation can cause the same damage as a tub full of water. So letting the phone get pretty warm, then bringing it into a cold environment, or letting it get very cold, then bring it into a warm environment, can cause condensation inside the phone, which can cause water damage. And that type of damage, being pretty pure water, may not cause problems for months, so it could have happened during the winter.)
