Auto camera photos too bright/high contrast

Hello. On auto camera the photos taken look like high contrast, the photos are too bright and my sons eyes look super black. How do I fix this? Same issue with video...images and video are not natural looking like on the iPhone 8 plus

Some phone cameras are better than others. Even the good ones, I find, will sometimes give bad results....Androids, iPhones and Windows phones.

Some camera apps have an HDR function, which can make images look like that. So explore your settings to see if you have that and make sure it's off.
