How do i change the wifi network my chromecast is connecting to?

I moved and am on a new wifi network. I reset Chromecast to factory settings, but neither my Android phone app nor my laptop can find the device. How do I reconnect?

Welcome to Android Central! It should be automatic. What's displayed on the TV when you turn it on and change the input to the HDMI where the Chromecast is connected?

Open the Home app, if the old entry for the device is still there, remove it. Then re-pair it.
