Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Do you have any "RAM cleaner" or "memory booster" apps installed? If so, get rid of them.

Yes, I think I understand what you're saying -- but can you answer the other question I asked? Do you have any "memory booster" apps installed?

My RAM is 1GB

That is your problem. Basically what's happening is your apps are demanding more RAM than is available. Because of this, background apps will be killed out of necessity just to be able to keep the device running. Today's apps are a lot more resource intensive than when your device was made, and your only real option is to replace it. 4 GB of RAM is about standard on today's devices.

What you are experiencing is the same symptom that can happen with memory booster apps. That's why B. Diddy was asking that question. So if you are ever tempted by those, just avoid them like the plague because they will fight how Android is designed to operate.

Mooncatt is spot on. In addition, Huawei is notorious for aggressive RAM management at the system level, so even if you didn't install any 3rd party "memory boosters," the Huawei firmware might be doing the same thing on its own. Look in the system settings for any kind of "app optimization" menu, and see if you can "protect" certain apps from being closed out of RAM.

Setting>wireless & network> more>data usage>tap on … and inactive restrict background data .

I'm glad you found a workable solution. I'll still sick with my recommendation of upgrading to something more current, though. 1 GB of RAM isn't much, and apps will only increase the amount they need as they get updated. Some apps may even stop letting you update them (meaning no bug fixes and missing out on newer features) because they are no longer compatible with your device. This fix may only be a temporary one.
