Why did I get a book early and it was a signed copy?!

Okay I know this isn't anything about technology, but please help.
I had ordered a book from indigo and I got it today, but it want even close to it's release date. It was supposed to come out at June 26th, so when I brought the book home and opened the package, I was surprised to see a signed copy sticker on the cover with her signature in the inside.
I'm not complaining or anything, she's one of my favourite authors. But I'm really curious!
By the way, it the new Wings of Fire book, The Lost Continent.

Why? You'd have to ask Indigo or the author. There's probably some reason, but anything anyone here says, unless they work for Indigo or are the author, would just be a guess.
