What is this symbol? Hand under a shield with a check mark.

[Android Central Question]

I have a symbol showing up in my notification bar that looks like a hand and shield. Shows up while I play a Sudoku app (so far that seems to be the only app) and the screen goes black. This doesn't pull down like the notifications normally do and I have to go back to the home screen to exit. This symbol looks almost exactly like this image at shutterstock website (stock-vector-check-mark-shield-and-hand-icon-vector-logo-template-795819220.jpg)
except it is all white

Welcome to Android Central! Uninstall the sudoku app and see if that goes away. If so, then it's likely some "feature" the app developer sneaked in, most likely as an excuse to serve up more ads to you, or lure you into buying some other app (probably a "security" app).
