Android Central Question

I have a rogue alarm in the standard alarm clock app that appears mysteriously and goes off at 4:15am MST. I check before going to bed, delete it if it is there and yet it still goes off in the morning. How do I permanently get rid of this alarm.

I've cleared both the data and the cache and the only thing that has changed is the sound on the clock. It still goes off at 0415.....ugh

We'll see what pulling the SD card does.....clearing the cache and data did nothing, I've also reverted to an earlier version of the app and today it went off at 4:24 am rather than 4:15 am. Gotta be a better way to resolve this than switching to iphone. Suppose I could revert to factory settings.

Hi there. Did you ever figure this out? I have tried clearing cache in the clock app, plus no SD card in the phone... The alarm icon is still featuring in the top ribbon, despite no alarm being set? (Similar to your problem - alarm going off at 4/6am, despite not being set...). Many thanks

Which device, pixel?
Clear data data then force stop the clock

Xaoimi Redmi 10. I may have found the [pre-loaded] app that was causing the issue. Hopefully it doesn't go off in the middle of the night tonight :-)

Thank you very much for the reply
