I have 2 old Samsung Galaxy Tab E's I bought from my brother some few years ago because he's the type that gets suckered into the frequent "oh, look, for just a few dollars more now, you can get the latest ...".

I've pulled both tablets out of moth balls because I've been meaning to use them for readings, etc. (not for heavy use that would require a newer tablet. I spent money on these!!).

But neither my Win10 PC or Win10 laptop shows them.

I went again to the Samsung website and dl drivers for Samsung tablets in general (couldn't find one that specified this particular tablet), but still nothing. Anyone know how to get this model of Samsung tablets recognized?

Thank you!

When you connect the tablet to the PC, swipe down the notification panel and look for a USB connection notification. Tap that and make sure it's set to File Transfer (or MTP), rather than Charge Only.
