Why is it so hard for me to send MMS?

I've used go SMS pro for a few years with no problems on a galaxy note 4, I recently switched to a galaxy Note 8, ever since the switch, I've had great difficulty sending pictures or any kind of file to anyone, I usually have to use the samsung messaging app to complete this process. Can someone please tell me what the problem might be?
