My phone samsung j7 had a phone storage of 16gb but now its only 4gb

[Android Central Question]

My phone was not switching on so i showed the phone to the store. After it started working my photos were all erased. Before it had 16gb storage but now its only showing 4gb, so what to do ?? And can my photos be backed up ?? If my gb cannot be restored so what to do actually??

Photos cannot be backed up if not on the device or elsewhere. Perhaps they are, perhaps not.

Please post a screenshot of your stats in Settings, Storage.
