Automatically calling unknown number when connecting to car bluetooth

[Android Central Question]

When first get into either of our cars, so not a fault with the car and our other phones don't do it either, the note 8 starts a call to a UNKNOWN NUMBER AND SO YOU HAVE TO CANCEL IT before you can proceed! Very annoying! any ideas please. Only started a few weeks ago. Tried a reboot and disconnecting and reconnecting the bluetooth but no joy!

Have you tried to let it ring through so you can find out whose number it is?
