How do I stop random popup ads on a Kyovera Duraforce Pro?

[Android Central Question]

I get random popup ads that interrupt everything that I do on my phone. When my alarm goes of in the mornings an ad shuts it down. They interrupt calls, messages, emails, one even popped up and turned off the recent presidential alert. They are nearly always Google ads. I have not installed any new aps recently, all of the aps on my phone were on my previous phone that was damaged in Hurricane Florence. I cannot get anything to show when I long press the recent aps key. I have disabled everything from Google aside from Gmail. I have run a malware program to no avail. The rep at the provider store recent my notifications, but the ads came back, with a vengance. Any advice is welcome, just be thorough, as I am not a tech guru. Thank you in advance!

Mine came with two Solitaire games. I deleted those and the ads stopped.
