How do I stop receiving quiet notifications on lock screen?

I have Twitter notifications set to "Deliver quietly". I have my systems settings under lock screen, then notifications, then notifications to show set to "alert notifications only". And I still receive Twitter notifications on the lock screen. This has been an issue ever since android 12 cause it worked before that. And I recently got a new phone and it's still an issue

Which device so we can offer suggestions?
Some manufacturer have more options then others.

Welcome to Android Central! Is it that you don't want sensitive information to show up, or you don't want any Twitter notifications at all on the lockscreen (but want them to show up when unlocked)?
